I can remember the Laurence House site being a long term 'temporary' car park form the 70s with a view to it being used for a road scheme. Then 'Catford Island' (where the retail park is now) being under planning blight for a heck of a long time pending a different traffic scheme...

Got on one of these during the trial period. Absence of forward facing seats means those prone to travel sickness have a less comfortable ride with the sideways rocking of the carriages.
