Many students experience math as pushing around symbols that don't really mean anything. If that's your experience of math, maybe it's hard to viscerally get mathematician's complaints that a lot of AI proofs "only" solve problems, without generating any new understanding.

Kinda think is why I think Klein couldn't make this critique! A lot of professional takes havers have to believe they can understand things outside their domain well enough or they wouldn't do the job they do

Update on this, cansim users should update to the latest version (v0.5.0). The issue with StatCan mixing "non-breaking white space" characters into dimension and member names persists and is getting worse. ⚠️People downloading data directly or using other tools should take note and exercise caution.
