Ppl lack any kind of analytical capabilities and don't even understand what fiction is supposed to be for.... personally i don't get why they'd engage with media they aren't even genuinely interested in instead of just writing what they wanna see themselves

Chasing views is OK, but its a seperate hat than the writing hat. Editing is a different hat too.

Show PostWriting has to be its own reward, or it's not worth the struggle. I know, we all chase likes. Most of mine come from a group I joined (5amWritersClub). Other than a group of mutually supportive writers, my feed would be ignored.
