I had not come across DBT’s idea of shared and non-shared reality before. That’s lovely. Non-reasonable does not mean not real, just non-shared, and ideally is experienced alongside shared reality. If I’m understanding that correctly, that is. I’m not trained in DBT and wary of it in some ways.

Day 2 of my supervision training starts in an hour and half(ish)... yesterday I kept catching myself thinking about how in grad school I worked nights at the shelter and then would do these all-day weekend intensives 2-4x/term, and like. How tf did I ever manage that!? 😶
