I do completely understand how a neutral fan wouldn't necessarily love the energy this Phillies crowd is bringing to the home run derby. And that's fine. I also don't give a shit. It's our turn to host and we're hosting. You can have your crowd of Home Run Derby Respecters back next year.

If anything Jordan Walker left last night with about 5 years of thousand of Philadelphians calling for the Phillies to trade for him or sign him. He could crash and burn in the next 12 months and some dude in 2030 will still be calling into WIP thinking they should get him.

The Phillies select OF Caden Bogenpohol, a big dude who hits the ball really really hard...directly into the ground. If the Phillies had any track record of fixing these guys I would be excited, but they have a track record of taking these guys and failing to develop them.
