i don't think there's anything wrong with i-told-you-so's in moral contexts. if your friend makes an obvious career mistake or something, no i-told-you-so. that's just normal human error. if pundits decide to stan a guy with a prominent nazi tattoo, yeah, they earned that shit. & must suck it up
