And for absolute non-gamers, it's funny how much of an issue controlling a camera can be! My fiance is absolutely ok with 3rd person cameras(where controlling it can be hard for non-gamers), but gets motion sick when playing first person games.

Absolutely! It's why I use my fiance as a playtester. She's a gamer, but plays different kinds of games(cozy games) than I usually do(rpgs, platformers, games with combat). So much of what we expect, and treat as "normal" in a game is built on our years of having played games.
