BTW, I met and spoke with hundreds of competitive KI players. Of them, I'd trust exactly 2 to give me good big picture feedback, and only about 10 more to give more narrow but useful, rational feedback about balance. Not a knock on anyone. just something not everyone can do.
Show PostI dont believe most players see competitive balance this way, and Im sure most game devs responsible for game balance dont see it this way. And I feel this is why we see so many big misses in the game balance space. Manipulate emotions, not numbers. Lead, don't follow.
