I hated LLMs until Claude 4.6, now I pair program with it. I despise vibe-coded slop but no one is making me do that. Many people take pro- or anti- AI as dogma which makes talking about it hard.

I'm also worried about the responsibility vs control thing. The industry pushes for complete automation, but if something goes wrong with the generated code Sam and Dario won't be the ones in trouble

The thing I miss the most about writing code myself is the search for elegance: finding a great way to express a solution to a problem, with few but well-chosen lines of code.
