@trystanlea.bsky.socialThe UK has made great strides in greening its power sectors, but must now drive on with electrifying end-use (esp. in cars & heating) to drive out fossil fuels. What many don’t realise that this process will reduce our primary energy needs by two thirds, from 2400 TWh in 2010 to 800 TWh. 1/
Show PostDefinitely! Greenhome heating has done us good with the install - especially after the nightmare of our first one 🤣
Show PostAlso electrical back up heater with I now use a lot because of solar and battery. Ability to choose what top card values are displaying (max two rows). Ability to choose what line series are displayed 🥰💚
Show PostThanks, the wish list is quite long and might be complex 😅 But… I have HA sensor with a real time heat loss value, which would be nice to display. Also, average line for heat output power (would work and show nicely when system cycles to match heat loss)
Show PostNow we have solar and batteries, is that currently the house is costing us less than 4p/kWh to run. If we had both the battery+current tariff since install, our entire heating and hot water demand since Dec 24 would have cost us a total of £191 🤯 but is probably even less due to export and PV.
