#Metroidvania is the name of the genre. That’s what stuck. I’m old enough to remember when some people said “castleroid” 🤣 IDK why some people are so hung up on that w/ the new #Castlevania. It’s a metroidvania-style entry in the series. To say otherwise just confuses people imo. What am I missing?

#JRPG of the Day - Grandia #Grandia has great vibes - while there are high stakes in the story, it’s mostly lighthearted and focused on a kid exploring the world with his friends 🗺️ Combo-focused, fast-paced turn-based combat system. Great music/graphics that invoke 90’s anime. Remastered in 2019 ✨
