What sort of sun exposure are they getting there? The best ones I've managed are always in the farm garden where they basically are cooked all summer. Constant work to keep them watered, but they like all the sun they can get.

mine are in the same state (i’m in nova scotia) and from past experience, they won’t bloom until mid-into-late-september … i usually plant them in mid-may.

I'm not an expert at all, and I use the same variety to get seeds from, but I think this is varietal? Blooms will happen if warm weather allows, it could also just be timing? I start my seeds indoors on new years day and they are about 2' at planting. We see blooms and seeds in July
