(Amanda) Betty says that I look very alert in this photo that Auntie Rachel took. I think I know what she means, but I don't do it on purpose. I'm just interested in everything that's going on around me. Is being alert a good thing, or should I try to relax more?

(Janet) Another cat has been seen at the allotments. I haven't seen it but Auntie Chrissie and Uncle Andy have. I was born at the allotments but I've always wondered how other cats have managed to find us to make their home here. Betty says "The word gets round" but I'm not sure what that means.

(Janet) I told you that another cat had been seen on the allotments - here it is! It seems to be living in Ken's shed, where I used to live. I haven't seen it because I don't go to Ken's plot now. Auntie Chrissie looked inside and said there was food there for it. I wonder who is feeding it?

(Amanda) This is Betty holding me. I like it when she does this, it's very comfortable. She wasn't used to cats but she's changed since Robert and Barbs both showed her just how special cats can be and I know she loves us all now. It's funny how humans can change, isn't it?
