tossed & turned until past midnight, woke up at 3:30 bc i had to pee, then went back to tossing & turning for over an hour 🫩 and then my alarm went off an hour later and trust i called out of work

at first i worried i was being overdramatic, but after being awake for an hour or so, i can confirm i feel like a ghoul. brain working at perhaps 10% capacity. guh

like even just two years ago, four hours would've been unpleasant but easily doable. no problemo. it's still weird to me how that's not the case anymore

"why did you think it was overdramatic to call out when you only got four hours of interrupted sleep" you have to understand i spent about 15 years of my life comfortably running on five hours of sleep most nights. i'm still adjusting to the part of aging where i've stopped being able to do that
