No one is happy people died, but a life changing event can wake people up. There are consequences to our actions, they often affect the innocent, I do not know if they will correlate their vote (or lack of vote) to this disaster, but I think that is what people are responding to. Accountability.

I haven't seen anyone celebrating kids dying. I have seen people upset at adults who voted for this. Children can't vote, so we shouldn't have to clarify that we're not blaming children when we say "they get what they voted for".

Many aren't being cruel about the loss of children but pointing out thay this administration's cuts delayed warnings and aid. Pointing out the failings of this administration isn't the same as having glee about lost lives.
