People trying to have some moral high ground while also being in the Outlast fandom and liking especially Eddie or Coyle is so wild to me. Like when has fandom become a moral race and people stopped being unapologetically freaks and have fun? I feel old

I must be old because fandom in its early stages consisted of everybody staying in their lanes and if we didn't like something, we moved tf on. We knew how to separate fiction from reality and were content to enjoy our own things. 20+ years of fandom online and I am tired lol

I will say it again: don’t like, don’t read/engage, move tf along. Pro-shipper wasn’t a term until antis decided to be assholes. It was understood in all fandoms that niches exist and if you didn’t like one, just don’t interact for your own mental health. Wtf is wrong with people these days?
