My first apartment in 1994 was $350/month. Adjusting for inflation, that apartment should now rent for $744/month. It actually rents for $1500. Greed and inflation are hurting the kids, not their Starbucks lattes.

This is a great question for all of congress to think about. Hypothetically,If FEMA goes away, what happens to home owners and other insurance rates ? Climate change looks like it will make rates so high, home insurers will want equity in your house as a way of holding down rates
