Similar to my dad, now 93, who spent the war years with his mum living with distant family in Hampshire. In his memory a blissful period of his childhood, and my sister and I grew up in the 60s regaled with stories of this country idyll. That was his war.

i really want people to absorb that -∀(x) is ∃(x). once you realize that "not all men" boils down to "there exists one," it's kind of embarrassing to keep saying
