Man, as someone on a GLP1 for medical reasons it just makes me want food a little less because I actually feel full. It didn't turn me into a moral parable. My many interesting moral failings did that.

my friend had a much less weird and totalizing way to express this observation: he felt like it diminished his impulses and cravings across the board, not just with food; so he still enjoyed both food and his hobbies just as much but spent way less time just sitting around *wanting* them
