Do you mean walk away from it as in you’re done and want to publish or you want to scrap it completely and move on or start anew?

Sometimes I might think a book is not good but I know 20 years ago it would've become my entire life. Other times I read books I know aren't made for me but still manage to be intrigued by them. I think it's good to explain if a book wasn't able to meet expectations and why to help others save time.

I'm actively seeking negative reviews. Critique (when rightly evaluated) is a tool for improvement. Conversely- A heart-felt glowing review is a welcome pat on the back. Both are good. I already like my book and chose to publish. It's up to the readers from that point on. #TheBinaryButterfly

I know a few people personally who rate books, even the ones they really don't like, 5 stars (one mentioned "to not hurt the author" as a reason). If I'm going to rate something, I want to be honest about it but not rude or mean.
