It's a legitimate fear. Hit retirement, and even the healthiest can have an unexpected medical situation occur that results in huge long term expenses. Then add Trump's war of choice(s), tariffs, the GOP's cuts to Medicare/ACA, high mortgage rates, & high inflation, no way to take a vacation.
