It's a tear-jerker. I cried when I read it 40 years ago. I haven't read it again (I re-read most good books), but I'm glad I read it. ❤️

Finished. There were times I was laughing, saying "oh my god" to some of the moments and times when my head would spin at the government bureaucracy that was laid on some of the characters in the story. Time to take a few hours break before I start the next book. #Booksky
