As I moved eastward after HS, I had to rewire my Midwest brain for certain specific words: tennis shoes (aka "tennishoes") ~ now #sneakers pop ~ soda or even weirder, tonic (!) sub (submarine sw) ~ hoagie (Philly) and grinder (MA) water fountain ~ bubbler (MA) lightning bug ~ firefly #vss365
