  Yes! I want students to understand that struggle is part of it - that it is okay when your thinking changes - it doesn't mean you should not have had those other thoughts... I want them to feel the joy of exploration and the development they are going through. #LTHEchat

  Absolutely, Martin. A cold room and an unclear brief aren't 'good friction'! I think we need to remove avoidable obstacles so students have the time and energy for the difficulty that actually belongs to the learning. #LTHEchat

  I dropped out and returned, and you're right, Martin - I had a totally different perspective and was much more motivated.

  Yes, good point. But then, I think modularisation per se is too often the enemy of coherence, especially when a programme has been running for a while, and staff have come and gone, and module leaders have changed. I wonder how the flexibility imagined in LLE will exacerbate this, too. #LTHEchat
