    Oh and in Shanghai it was mentioned that blueprints would not be a required working feature for early versions of UE6 so, like… who knows at this point?

    A similar thing happend in Chicago, when the speech hinted at blueprints being removed, then an off-stage conversation confirming blueprints being removed, then at Gamescom I got told they aren't being removed, and now here is Tim saying blueprints are being removed Is the roadmap vibed up as well?

    Uh oh. I don't even know what is really going on here, but that's been the case for a while now regarding UE6. Maybe in the actual speech this is clarified, but the problem is: That doesn't matter! At a conference like this, what is on a slide has to speak for itself. Because people take pictures.

    from a labor standpoint, this is gonna fucking suck because there are entire game designer career tracks that have been blueprint heavy for 10 years. those folks are gonna have to retrain and have been disproportionately affected by layoffs.
