    Buried in the budget is a clue that Carney’s fossil fuel agenda is more ambitious than previously thought. Gov is pledging $11 million over the next five years to explore options to extract oil in the Arctic. Dig into our budget coverage, which also gets into which major projects are likely next.

    Here's a story on how an oil and gas lobbyist group partnered with a B.C. company that has lots of social media accounts (Unfiltered, Faces of Vancouver, Vancity Vibe) that generally post 80% engagement bait, and then 20% other posts! But why do those "other posts" happen? And who pays for them?

    One of Sim's major initiatives as mayor, which he tried, failed, and eventually succeeded in doing, was to repeal the ban on natural gas in new buildings. Right around that time, @jmcelroy.bsky.social noticed a strange habit in one anonymous "media" account: boosting Ken Sim.
