The Twilight. The golden skies contrasted by the dark clouds. The eerie music. The harsh orange lighting. All of it is just so haunting yet peaceful in a way.

The Palace of Twilight in Twilight Princess. The perpetual twilight and the alien architecture is simply beautiful in its own way.

The Depths get a bad rep but i loved my time exploring. I can't pick specific places but in general it had an atmosphere that always felt haunting but you still came across locations that looked breathtaking.

The very setting of Wind Waker is the end-result of the Hero of Time not returning. Things got so bad that the gods flooded Hyrule. And nothing fixes it. It's trapped in time and, come game's end, has the plug pulled so it may erode away under the waves.
