So you used AI to check for AI, and then without bothering to verify the facts, you decided to commit an act of libel and defame an author. Shouldn’t @theatlantic.com have higher standards than to simply allow someone to lie on their behalf?
Postu gösterIt's super fucked up how all the major public allegations and news stories have targeted black and POC authors. I'm actually working right now on a piece about two white American authors who appear to be scamming dozens of lit mags with AI work.

Postu gösterWriting "wisdom" I hate: WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW. This is the worst advice ever. It would be better if it was KNOW MORE SO YOU CAN WRITE ABOUT IT. Every good writer I know is constantly researching and getting new information and asking experts. It's a terrible bit of advice!
Postu gösterPlease remember that for every VE Schwab and Stephen King, there are a lot of banned Black, queer, and POC writers you've never heard of, to whom it is maybe not a badge of honor but a denial of their voice. Being banned is not a marketing opportunity, unless one is already rich.
