    her reaction to seeing her son after all that time was “oh! how neat! it’s so nice to see you again!🙂”. Add that she knows she’s going to have 500ish years to have a relationship with him and i can see why she lacked urgency/desperation to see him.

    I really like how her longetivity and perception of time plays into this too. Of course having Cai taken at birth was a deeply traumatic event but the 15 years they spent separated was probably more like two weeks from her perspective/time scale. It makes total sense that
