    'uv' seems to be the current gold standard for managing Python installations and venvs. I can can highly recommend to read the documentation for the tool. Also it implements PEP723 for scripts with inlined dependencies, which makes scripts portable and independent. Highly recommended read ->

    That said, fighting and taming Python installations is a decades old sport. `uv` seems to be much needed fresh air in this regard, but clankers may not yet to default to using it without a bit nudging.

    Tell your clanker to never ever touch a system installed Python and always use `uv` + venv
