TIL there are Polish-Haitians. They enlisted with Napoleon's army to fight for republicanism but instead were sent to Haiti to put down the 1802 slave revolution. Most died from disease, but up to 500 deserted to the Haitian cause, where their descendants still live. #hatm
Postu gösterI really don't like Christians talking about "salvation" as a thing we possess. I know what they're getting at, but salvation is literally life with the triune God, not a product we obtain.
Postu gösterA few friends of mine expected Democrats to cause riots in major cities after the election and attempt to block the election results. The orderly process today was the best rebuttal the Democrats could have chosen. It's also a hopeful sign for us all in the long-term. Well done.

Postu gösterFair difference. TBH, I don't know enough about Panama's internal politics right now. Ukraine is pretty black and white though. We promised to protect her in the Budapest Memorandum (along with Russia!). If she had kept them, would Russia have invaded? Will never know.
