In the San Luis Valley, some spots got rainfall totals to be expected only once every 100 to 1000 yrs (assuming our climate is stationary, which it clearly isn't). Alamosa: Biggest 2- & 3-day totals in 120 yrs of data. Consistent w/El Niño? Oh yes...

Postu gösterIt’s bonkers to me that coastaly-trapped Kelvin waves can be widely reported on pretty accurately, but for whatever reason high tides keep getting mislabeled as “king tides”.
