    Re: Altman's statements on local compute. It is true that people running their own compute is inefficient and costly if your goal is cheap and ubiquitous access to AI. It is also true that too much centralization in compute is bad.

    heres one that will melt some brains If the human using an AI is responsible for its bad outcome (And they should be) They also get the credit for its good outcome too. You cant have it both ways.

    biggest thing is diffusion generates all tokens at once, so it’s not just fast, it has *reliable* latency, which makes it a good fit for embedded and realtime applications
