    Not only did Democrats pick-up many governorships, but none of the new Democratic governors will have to contend with a vetoproof GOP supermajority. That's really important. The GOP lost or failed to regain its supermajorities in Kansas, Iowa, North Carolina, & Ohio. A game-changer in all.

    You know about Talarico. You know about Hinojosa. Meet Alisa Simmons. Simmons flipped control of Tarrant County, one of the nation's biggest counties, winning the executive election. Dems also flipped control of the county board, and flipped the DA's office.

    Thinking of all the queer, trans, gay kids & teenagers who felt the weight of the harassment and hate being aired on every screen for the last few months. I'm worried even election results can make that sting go away at that age.
