    watching AES's calm and confident interview on 60 minutes and haley stevens meltdown on anderson cooper it is once again worth noting that during the primary the political press portrayed AES as the unhinged, undisciplined extremist and Stevens as the reasonable and professional moderate.

    I don't know if El-Sayed will win, though there is reason for optimism. I do know that if Stevens were candidate it would be hard to be too optimistic about either result. Anyway I can't w/people who think this way...prediction markets? Unserious people with prominent media jobs. It's embarrassing.

    Centrists wanted to run that walking disaster midwestern fake-voice Elizabeth Holmes weirdo who can't answer simple questions without melting; next election they'll be back telling us that we need to go with their "safe" option. Stevens might have been the most beatable candidate in any election.

    You can dodge many bullets by rejecting the “safe” option in favor of someone with firm beliefs and a willingness to articulate them unapologetically.
