    American big tech/industry still seems to believe the average US citizen trusts them more than Chinese companies simply because they are American companies. They don’t seem to get that after spending 20 years constantly, grotesquely abusing public trust, many Americans don’t see them as any better.

    Yes, I would prefer NONE of my data be stolen or used in sinister ways, but at least China stealing my data is way less likely to impact my life than one of our equally evil U.S. tech companies stealing my data and selling it to the GOP fascists in DC whose boots they regularly tonguebathe.

    I once had a handlebar and then a woman told me it would look great on me if I was 3 inches taller and 30 kilos heavier so now I don't do that stuff

    One thing that could happen is that there is evidence in the early vote data of a shift from mail to in-person voting among Democratic early voters. Some of that could spill over to Election Day, making it a bit bluer than in the past
