To put a finer point on this. I didn't blame New Yorkers. As a journalist, I also saw, and have written for a long time about, how national media in NY/DC also propped up Donald Trump and unleashed him on everyone else. DJT still made a lot of NYC/DC journalists and networks money + traffic

Every time I criticized Dem leadership in the last year or so, some doofus has popped into my TL to explain to me (a person who has worked on Dem campaigns professionally, covered them, and has a degree in public policy studies and political science) that "now is not the time" to criticize any Dems
