It’s always so cool when I see writers turn their fics into zines for fun, whether they decide to sell it or not. I’ve been wanting to teach myself how to format so I can do it to my own stories, just a matter of finding the time 😅
Postu gösterYeah that was me. I do think there could be more mail related events, exchanging a physical toke is very special. You could always make a mini zine of a fic you’ve already written to see if you like the process and go from there
Postu göstersnail mail is the BEST THING in fandom! if memory serves, you ran the PopRocks postcard exchange a few years back? I remember that when I printed my fic for it, I realized I wish I could have written much less but formatted better into a legit mini zine. Physical copies are so important and fun!

Postu gösterWorking with a writer who went out of their way to learn how to format zines and yknow I think more fanfic writers should because it would be cute if they could meetup and swap zines with others. Like even just diy stapled booklets. If you wanna get fancy partner with a artist friend for a cover
