    sometimes the growth is realizing that you don't have to keep choosing something just bc you've invested so much in it. you can appreciate what something meant to you, acknowledge what you learned, and still decide that it no longer belongs in the life you're trying to build.

    the biggest takeaway for me is that you can keep your heart soft without abandoning yourself. you can love people without losing yourself in them. and you can be understanding of everyone else's journey while finally giving yourself permission to honor your own.
