  THE TALISMAN has always been one of my favorite books, since the weekend it was released. Instant love on my part. I've read it so many times. I read it to my sons when they were younger. That's like a year's worth of bedtimes. Reading the new one right now is terribly bittersweet.

  I know. I also hate, “be sure to tip the waitresses” and “I’ll show myself out” and “_____ 2, Electric Bugaloo.” These aren’t jokes any more, they are the desiccated remains of the unwrapped corpses of the smelly fossils of jokes.

  Christ on a cracker, ONSLAUGHT rips. The bastard child of John Carpenter and James Cameron, this is a the movie that should have played third at a Drive-In in 1987 after ROBOCOP and MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. And that’s the whole point. Bonus 80s points for Reginald Valjohnson! So much brutal fun!
