No, the point is that I want a world where things like civil liberties and bodily autonomy are baked into the fabric of society, so we don’t have to save them each time. A world where it’s not a choice between fascism and freedom each time.

I was a nascent political dweeb even in elementary school. By the time of the first Clinton presidential run in 1992, I was concerned about things like Supreme Court vacancies. And each election since then really has felt increasingly important. I’m so tired.

St. Louis friends, we're due for storms tomorrow afternoon on Election Day- polls open early at 6AM, if you haven't voted yet maybe plan to stop by in the morning and tell your friends and family too! Remember yes on 6 but the rest of the statewide propositions are tricks- no on 3, 7, 8, and A!
