Postu gösterI really don't know why they just can't stick with the congestion charge - I'd make it less harsh & give more permits to EVs & less to SUVs but it seems to be making them money & is affordable when the ring road is congested (which is all too frequent).
Postu göster173 electric buses are now in service across the roads of Oxfordshire, following another delivery of single-deckers to Oxford Bus Company – to be used in semi-rural routes out of Oxford and Bicester. The buses have air conditioning (with a zero-emission heat pump) and can move up to 45 passengers.
Postu gösterA motion in support of a ban on pavement parking was approved by Oxfordshire County Council in the full Council meeting yesterday, with 50 votes for and 1 abstention. It was raised by Cllr Bethia Thomas (LibDem, Faringdon).
Postu gösterWe really need parking wardens reprioritised from vehicles that have over stayed / not paid, to vehicles that are parked in a dangerous manner. I know this may require some legislative changes, but it's crazy that local authorities have no authority over this sort of madness.
