    it doesnt matter if you're wrong or right. what matters is if you can convince me. fiction is a conversation and you have as much right as the author to say what you think about it!

    this is death of the author to me. it doesn't matter what the author intends, because we all have subconcious bias, none of us are omnipresent, and we all can interpret things in our own ways. the only thing that matters is if you can convince me using the medium itself.

    "toby is obviously implying this" is he? or are you assuming intent that might not be true? do you need the author to come out and personally grant your headcanon a gold star in order for you to believe in it? or are you going to say with your full chest that this is your view
