I do kinda think Apple computers being closed boxes that Just Work but need you to take to a Genius to fix when they don't did a lot of damage towards to the idea of computers being deliberate machines we own & maintain and not magic Devices we're at the mercy of, in the age before All Of This Shit.

Except we *can't* filter it out. There's no "AI" filter in the store pages. We'd have to browse each and every game page to look for the voluntary AI disclosure. That's why we're so upset with both Steam and Itch rn. We're forced to see this shit even when we explicitly do not consent to it.
