As I near day 300 of boot.dev, I can safely say it’s one of few YT sponsors that is worth your time. I have tried no fewer than 6 other ways of learning programming and none of them have come close to sticking. It’s an amazing feeling to now have a job as a junior dev. Thanks, @wagslane.bsky.social
Postu gösterWe actively removed all the AI art from boot dev almost a year ago, and not just the app, but even old blogs. It's just sooo bad for the brand. We're paying more artists now than we ever were before. 2/2
Postu gösterBack in 2022 and 2023, I thought ai art was a kinda fun alternative to stock images. Now in 2026, it's soooo much worse. EVERYONE is sick of it. I'm constantly amazed at the unironic use of blatant AI slop art by so many companies out there. 1/2
Postu gösterTraditional educators should be embarrassed that they have our kids for 7 hours a day and still need to send kids home with homework. Use the time more effectively. Cut the busywork. Oh, and pay educators more so that we get good ones and they're incentivized to care.
Postu gösterFrontier LLMs are much better and dramatically faster than I am at finding and fixing bugs. If you are not asking them to debug your code and review your bugs, you are doing it wrong. A thread of Claude wins. (No longer at Google, btw.)
