My colleague @svanhildur.bsky.social and I studied UNHCR finances from 1967-2016 (published here, with Klaus H. Goetz: journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10....) — and there has never been a comparable drop in revenues In the 1990s, there was a drop linked to a shifts in crises, not in donor support.
