the morals of not punching down at a small business but the neurodivergent rage when the employee says “what do you need?” twice after I say “I’m just looking”, causing me enough anxiety to leave the store, but not before they say “you can go to Walmart” to the back of my head

Re-watching TNG and struck by how they all interact with the ship's computer, which is effectively an AI. Was this the first cinematic portrayal of AI? The way they phrase questions to it certainly seems like they've all been trained in prompt engineering...

It's kinda fake though. Parties in the US are much more diverse than parties in Canada or most European countries. Like AOC and Schumer would not be in the same party in most democracies.
