    It only took 3 years and five trips but I finally managed to see the returning Red-breasted Goose on Islay✅! 109 species overall, other highlights included my second Snow Goose, Snow Bunting, Little Auk✅, Pomarine Skua, Leach's Petrel, Little Gull. #BirdingScotland

    This Firecrest was along the north bank at Girdle Ness late afternoon today. Found by @hughad.bsky.social and only my fourth record here. It's also species 152 for the patch year list, which is a record for me. Still a couple of months to extend it! #Birds #BirdingScotland #PatchBirding #UKWildlife
