Here at Uni Bern, I teach a class called "How (Not) to Use AI in Research". In it, I talk a lot about how making essentialised claims about LLMs is ultimately not scientifically productive. This is another good illustration of why.
Postu gösterI did a classic base rate neglect demo in class today. Half of the class did probabilities (Kahneman & Tversky, Bar-Hillel) and half did natural frequencies (Gigerenzer & Hoffrage). Remarkable replication: complete base rate neglect for probabilities and perfect Bayesians for frequencies.
