I think it's more nuanced than that, personally, but that's not really the argument I want to make here. It's just... it's strange how suddenly nobody's thinking about the ongoing costs. Especially now given who knows what's gonna happen with oil

And I saw your post about electricity prices. A valid concern that they'll go up, but electricity is also the only energy source we have which can be produced with free inputs. I'm still very team grid because scale matters, but the ROI on a standalone PV array for charging a car is already there
